So I’ve heard that this dlc 90% of the attacks that are killing everyone you can parry them. It seems they wanted everyone to learn parrying rather than only dodging.
Can you do it with weapons that have guard counter? Or only with weapons and shields that have the “parry” skill? Cause while id love to learn how to parry these attacks, i just dont like the slow animation of the parry skill, makes it so off putting if Radahn is descending towards me with meteors and I just do a pimp backhand at 2 miles an hour 😂
@@nikostyleonyomamacoochie8513 so pretty much it follows normal parrying parameters. So slash and pierce attacks.

DLC is mostly opposite. A lot of attacks are too quick for me to react to...

Nah the dlc timing is so much better, i love this. Feels like you actually have to think and react fast instead of having to sit there and watch a boss charge up a goofy looking attack for 5-10 seconds longer than any normal human would.

big advice, the crimson bubble tear (i think its called) gives you like 40% of your max health when near death, so it makes many multi-hit boss grabs survivable, including messmers at full health with 70 vig

If you get to melania and can beat her then you are ready to take the next step. Don't rush the base game to get to the new dlc content though... really need to max out your build and be comfortable with how you attack/play before you commit to this dlc as there is a massive step up in difficulty for the whole expansion
